Nicola Rutzou had an accident on her bike earlier this year and it really threw her off, in more ways than one, so she thought it would be helpful to share her thoughts to get back to riding after an accident. http://www.strongher.cc/19/news/415/How-to-get-back-to-riding-after-an-accident.html Girls, have you experienced the same thing? How did you cope with with going back to riding - emotionally and physically?

Following the ever getting more succesfull events in 2016 and 2017, #RideAlongSpain is back in 2018, with a new event! For all girls who already joined us, and for all who didn’t, we offer something new: #RideAlongSpain Level Up. A new area, new routes. Slightly longer, but not harder, rides. Our base camp this time isn’t the coast, but Girona city. So you get to enjoy the city life as well! This #RideAlongSpain Level Up is for all girls who feel like a kick-start to the cycling season. You don’t need to be in super shape to join us, no: we’ll make sure you get out of this cycling holiday fit and ready for the season! Because there’s nothing better than riding your bike in the sun, when northern Europe is still cold and wet. So close your eyes and imagine… riding one of the most beautiful roads you’ve ever seen. The sun on your face, the warm wind from the Mediterranean on your skin. The road is winding, up and down. Every minute you have a different, breathtaking view: small beaches, rough cliffs, flowers and forrest, the ocean. This is the area where dozens of professional cyclists live and train; this is Girona, Catalunya. They didn’t just pick this place for training; pros always know where to find the most awesome roads, the best coffee and the loveliest places. How cool would it be to explore all of this in a six day-trip with a bunch of bike-loving girls, guided by ex-pro cyclist Marijn de Vries? #RidealongSpain gives you this unique chance. This trip is suited for all women who love cycling, though it’s nice if you’ve worked on your shape a little bit during winter. We’re not going to race, we don’t do interval sessions, we just enjoy riding. If you want to, though, you can use this trip as a training camp, by pushing as hard as you like uphill. It’s all about having fun with likeminded girls, awesome riding and relaxing in this women’s only trip. #RideAlongSpain is guided bij ex-pro cyclist Marijn de Vries, who knows the area very well. Marijn used to prepare herself for the racing season in Catalunya. She fell in love with the beautiful quiet roads, picturesque villages and great sceneries - and now she thinks it's time to share all of this with you. Prepare yourself for some luxury if you sign up: you’ll stay in a 4 star hotel in Girona. The trip runs from Wednesday till Monday. You’ll have some fantastic rides throughout the week and everybody will be able to ride at her own level: there’s always the option to ride less, or more. The rides will start in the morning and go on until early afternoon, so in the late afternoon there is some free time. You can explore the beautiful old town of Girona, have a coffee in one of the many coffee bars, enjoy a whine in the sun, or just enjoy some time off to read a book and relax. Once you have signed up we will send you and information pack which details all of these activities allowing you, if you wish, to plan in advance. Sunshine, bikes, relaxing, culture and fun. What more could you ask for? This is a cycling trip you simply don’t want to miss out on. If you want to join this great cycling trip, sign up here; http://www.strongher.cc/20/news/414/%23RideAlongSpain-2018---Level-up.html Of course you can sign up with your friends! Feel free to spread the word. We’ll only be able to run the trip with a minimum of 12 participants, so the more friends you bring the better.
